As a new year be gins, I encourage students to become involved within the St. Andrews community. While the college is growing, opportunities to become in volved and make a difference is also expanding. As the months pro gress, I hope that all students finds their own path in mak ing a difference at St. An drews and become inspired to pursue ideas or dreams in the future. It is our responsi bility to excel in our educa tion and to take care of the campus. St. Andrews is a great place to leam, ex plore new ideas, make friends, have fun, and prepare for the future. However, it is vital to help make the campus beaurifiil by taking care of it and not allowing trash to destroy its natu ral beauty; therefore, future students can en joy the environment that St. Andrews pre sents. While times are changing and technol ogy is advancing, The Lance, the school news paper, will not only pro vide a forum for student ideas and opinions, but also a means to enhance our efficiency and effec tiveness at relaying in formation on campus. Our community will also be able to access the articles presented in the paper on the exter nal website fwww.sapc.edu). Fur thermore, this will allow prospective students and others to view the articles and see how St. Andrews is growing. I encourage any one who would like to have their voices heard to consider writing for The Lance. If there are any questions concern ing The Lance, please feel free to contact me via email.
