Letter from the
Hi there, readers!
When it comes to the fall term,
as the weather becomes colder,
the semester becomes heated!
Midterms are passed, but finals
are coming up, and it is very,
very hard to keep up spirits,
sometimes. Some of us are
coming down with colds, oth
ers are just growing tired. I
guess it goes with this season.
Then again, there are those of
us who love this season. So, I don’t want to spoil it for you!
After all, there have been some pretty nice things happen
over the last couple of months, some of which you will find
out about in the following pages.
Also, September and October both hold special meaning as
they are designated to raise awareness for certain issues. For
example, Scodand County Relay for Life took place in
September, October is National Anti-Bullying And Bullying
Prevention Month, GLBT History Month, and, of course,
the month of Old Hollows Eve! So, no matter what your
mood, I’m sure there’s something here to suit you!
TTiis is the September/October issue of The Lance, but by
the time you read this, it will be at least the first day of
November.
So many surprises happen, and so many unexpected twists
and turns, that the issue often doesn’t turn out the way I plan
it. Nonetheless, I hope this serves as a good review of these
past couple of months, as experienced the SAU way!
Oh, and by the way, SAPC is now SAU! But no matter if you
experienced St. Andrews as a college, or if you know it now
as a university, remember this: once a ‘St. Android’ always a
‘St. Android’!
Sincerely,
