ATHLETIC SEASON
TICKETS GO ON SALE
FOR ALUMNI
A real treat is in store for the pur
chasers of the season tickets that are
being offered here for the first time.
The tickets that may be purchased
for $10.00 will permit the holder to
attend the football, basketball, and
baseball games for the 1951-52 sea
son. We would only have to reason
momentarily to realize the great sav
ing that would be made. ,\nd even if
we did not attend all of these games
we would be helping to maintain our
teams. The financial burden inc.ured
in “keeping up” a well eq'.iipijed
team is certainly far out of propor
tion to our usual funds. Let us in;ike
our teams confident and courageous,
but best of all—the VICTORS.
Conversation between two coeds:
“Certainly was a cute fellow you
were with. Where’d he hail from?”
“A 1951 convertible.”
A flabbergasted mistress of cere
monies who had lost her notes once
introduced Cornelia Otis Skinner thus:
“Because of the exorbitant price of
Rear Admiral Byrd, vve have with us
this evening Cornelia Otis Skinner.”

When Medwick’s turn came, lie step
