PURPOSE OF THIS EDITION
There seems to be some question as to the qualifications of many of the
candidates seeking offices. A number of the students have indicated that tJ>ey
did not know many of the persons who are listed as candidates. For th«se two
reasons, the COMPASS Staff decided that they would compile as many opinions as
possible from students to get an overall idea of how they felt.
This special Election Edition of the CDfiJPASS consists of opinions given
by members of the Student Body. Being students also, members of the news
paper staff have the privilege to include their opinions (indicated as such)
also.
This Edition is not intended to change anyone's choice for a candidate,
but rather to help stimulate more constructive thought before making a final
choice.
