necessary to have published this hand out for you. I'd like to say that I am in favor with the type of observances that we are having here at ECSU, I seriously hope that it will prove to be profitable to all who participate* I join in with our SGA president in requesting that all students who do not participate in observance, go their classes or do something construc tive. Don't use Oct. 15 as a holiday from classes. One matter which disturbed me greatly about the observances to be performed here was that it was not planned and organized far enough in advance. For several days before our observance no one knew anything definite about how we would pro'^est on today. Really, a lot of students didn't even know if we would have any observance at all. It appeared to me that up unti 1 two days before the moratorium our channels of corrniufiiration were cut off completely. If it was thought that we srould have observances on today, we should have been told exactly what would be carriad on 9t least one week and one-half before October I5. And on the night before we bad our ub^ervorio«s tjo elioii Un' C have liad to meet to decide who would speak and lead discussion groups, where would go to listen to these recordings and discussions. I think it is characteris tic of us to do things at the last mi nute * me cotmuani cat ions with the SGA, I feel should be improved for too many meetings are called which a large majority of the student body know noth ing about. I say to you students as individuals, when y»u are informed on urgent matters, let your fellow Vikings know what is going on. I am sure that if this is done, we will all know in^ii^ time what we are expected to do in all irapK>rtant matters. Help pass tfie 1^1 d qovei iiieetfiys. I feel that it is within these meetings that important s *->i e di^^ciissed. None of us can afford to miss tl>e5e So fellow Vikings lets keep each other informed on our all family matters.
