AN APPEAL TO THE SOCIAL SCIENCE MAJORS
To those students majoring in Social
Science I direct these questions. How
many news articles have you read concern
ing the war moratorium. How much research
have you done? Plenty I am sure. Let's
not forget that we are tonmorrows Socio
logists, Social workers, History teachers
and Social Science instructors. Searing
this in mind I am positive thay you are
ready for an interesting, inspiring and
enlightening discussion today. Let us not
take this situation lightly. As Black men
and women in the Social Sciences it will
definitely have an affect upxjn your future.
I appeal to you to take part in the panel
discussions and debates. This is a seri
ous matter and as University Social Sclen-
majors it is our duty to participate.
Don't take it lightly. An appeal of
alertness is what I suggest. \>/e should
have more to do with this Moratorium than
any other persons on campus. It is a fac
.that this affects us more than, any one
else. So let's get in the "Groove'^ Socia
Science majors.
Help to make the results of our
moratorium ones which will move this .
crisis toward some end.
