The purposes of the programs are to safeguard the health of the stu dents, to promote good health habits among students, and to protect and improve the health environment of the University community. The Health Center is staffed with a part-time physician, one registered nurse, three nurses aides, one orderly, and a secretary. In order to give satisfactory medic^ care and services to each University student, the Health Center staff desires the cooperation of all University students in adhering to the Health Service policies. HOURS; Monday to Friday (Out Patients Department) 8 a.m. to 12 noon 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Definition of an Emergency; A situation or occurrence of a serious nature developing suddenly and unexpect edly, and demanding immediate action. VISITING HOURS: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 6 p.m. to 8 p.m*. Visiting hours may be shortened by the nurse on duty at her discretion. UNIVERSITY DINING FACILITIES The Cafeteria The University provides a cafeteria which serves the University community as a modem pleasant facility for dining. Schedule: Breakfast — Monday thru Friday 7:15 to 8:30 - Saturday and Sunday 8:00 to 9:00 Lunch — Monday thru Friday 11:30 to 1:15 - Saturday 12:00 to 1:15 - Sunday 12:00 to 1:15 Dinner — Monday thru Friday 4:30 to 6:00 - Saturday and Sunday .... 4:30 to 5:30 Continental Breakfast will be served with regular breakfast during regular breakfast hours. . Meals cannot be taken from the dining hall to the dormitories unless accompanied by a signed slip from the Supervisor of the Health Center, School dishes, silverware or other dining equipment must not be taken from the dining hall to dorms without a signed requisition and special permission from the manager or the person in charge. Be courteous! Statesmen enter the dining hall througli the front entrances - are considerate and plea sant to each other - and DO NOT CUT LINES! Identification cards will be used for all meals and are available during registration. The Snack Bar The Snack Bar is located in the Ridley Center. Dur ing the regular school sessions, operating hours are from 9 A.M. to 10 P.M. Monday through Friday. The Snack Bar is closed Saturday and Sunday.
