Security with a Smile “How ya doing today? Can I help you?” And a big, warm smile. Who else but ECSU’s friendliest security cop, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Felton. He has been a university employee for twenty-four years, and a member of the campus security force for fifteen years. During this period he has spread his cheer and con cerned attitude throughout the campus. Although his job is to protect the campus, he has taken it upon himself to spread a little of his joy around for all to share. His spirit is infectious; his jokes, smiles, stories and general good cheer have made him quite a popular man at ECSU. In his spare time, Mr. Felton has demonstrated the true Viking spirit he so nobly personifies by driving the activity bus for the Athletic Department. Mr. Felton brings joy and laughter to everyone he en counters. His concern for people is well known and he has many friends. He is truly the soul of oiu- University family. He cares for us; but most importantly, he cares about us.
