Brown is new director
of Incentive Scholars

That's the word from the nen- Actir^
Director of the program. Dr. Denis J.M.
Brown. Brown, a native of South Bend
Indiana, replaced Dr. John VNTtitJev as
acting directot of the program the sum-
mer.
In early September, Brown iv>tified
those students who had not turned in
then- time cards that their servToe hours
would not be counted.

It isn't that Brown is tryrr^ to be hard-
nosed, he says It's just that 1« behest in

to chart the progress of students in the
