Another positive aspect is that students will receive some money when they sell their books back at the end of the semester. It won’t be nearly as much as the students paid for the books, but it will be a little money at the end of a semester. After months of using the book, studying from it and highlighting in it, students are ready to get rid of the book for good and a little cash back in their pockets gives them even more incentive to sell the book back to the university. The African Studies Program also sponsors the ECSU’s Global Leadership Academy, African - Caribbean Student Association, and a Monthly Seminar Colloquium Series.
