campus organizations to

for the underpriviledged. During
the national conclave held in I.as
Vegas, Nevada in late December,
Darryl Pickett seryed as a

always been “dy-no-mite” in the
past, is scheduled for April.
Announcements concerning it
will be posted soon. Also,
according to one Kappa, we had
all better watch out for their line
because they “plan to turn WSSU
out!” I believe them.

brothers of Nu Gamma Alpha are
readily making plans to attend
their conclave to be held
February 14 through 17 in Pine

SHE
She was a Blackwoman...
and she touched me.
And her dark angel soft hair
relaxed my fingers as they ran
gracefully through...
Her eyes of cosmic sp>arkle
She dazzled me as we
joined our thoughts through
undisturbed vibrations
her soft lips,
sweet as the
red pomegranate of Africa
She possessed a Black body
of luxurious naturalness
She showed me a path and I
took her hand and led her
through...
She touched me an
her expression told me
she was pleased.
I loved her and taught her
contained and restrained her.
She loved me and
strengthened me and held me...
tightly
And she called me her,
man,
I need her now and will forever.
She will never leave me
And she touched me....
We talked
and she expressed to me
a scope of womanhood.
She showed me a path,
A path that I had seen when,
I had a dream.
It was lined with fruits
and flowers and beauties of...
the first world
Friendship
and Love
We have walked many paths
and I led her on
And she touches me.
I am the man
who loves her.
Her...
She loves me....
She is a Blackwoman
and she touches me.
Written by James Williams
Friendship is the first step of love
Being friends serve as the foundation of love
Upon which love is built.
Knowing and understanding one another
Sets the way for deeper feelings.
Friendship is the seed planted
From which love blossoms into
A beautiful relationship.
Constant watering of compassion and
Understanding results in the
Growth of something lovely to behold.
F'riendship does not stop here
But continues to serve as the
Nourishment for the plant of love
For if friendship dies so does love
Because they depend on each other for life.
