Clean-up Welc^e Home The New Day SGA Campaign ‘^On The Move yj The Student Government association calls itself the New Day S.G.A., because it wants to symbolize a change. It is a new S.G.A. and the members have a new feeling. This feeling tries to bring about changes for the students. The entire staff is working together to accomplish total goals. Some of the goals are: to bring new life to the campus; to improve educational programs in all areas; to improve the social and academic atmosphere; to establish better communication between students and top administration: and to establish more unity and pride. A few of the goals they’ve accomplished already are: A Clean-up Committee - (which cleans up every Saturday morning at 10:00). There have been question and answer sessions with the chancellor and they will be held periodically. They have provided social activities which include Human Blood, Funk House Grand Illusion, Heahng Force, and a dance at the La Terre XXI every other Thursday night. Then there are the Homecoming Activities. The main thing the New Day S.G.A. works for is student involvement. They meet with the Chancellor to discuss problems, suggest solutions and to voice student opinions. They cannot accomplish their goals without the students. Give them your support.
