When asked how she feels about
receiving the title of Miss Minority
Business, she said, “It feels different . .
good. I’m still shocked.” The best
thing about the whole pageant to her
was winning, but she has gained other
qualities as well. “I’m more positive
minded now, and more open with
myself and others,” says Karen.
