Researchers have discovered that a chemical produced by the brain, phenylethylamine, is also found in chocolate. When you are attracted to so meone phenylethylamine gives you an “up” and acts as a stimulus to other chemicals in your body. The more pheylethylamine your body produces, the more it needs. Love, Cyndia He Works Hard For His Money By Robert Lassiter Students that work are not working just to be working. The majority of the college students work because they have to support themselves through school or help their parents pay their way through school. Others may be working for job experience. Whatever the reason, these students are not working to waste time. O’neil Dunn, a senior at WSSU, com mented that his job provides him with the proper training that can be used in his field of study, which is Business Administratin. Dunn works for Godfather’s Pizza. Since the time of his employment, he has become shift manager. He realizes that you cannot always start at the top. He started out making pizzas and now he is in the managing aspects of the business. Althought Dunn works through the week, he also has to attend classes. The schedul ing of work hours must be done around classes and studying. Dunn states “I must remember my first priority is to finish schol”. “Working in a fast food restaurant helps me to cope with different people: This will be helpful to me in the world of business”, said Dunn. O’neil Dunn is just one of the many students at Winston-Salem State Universi ty, that works and at the same time, a stu dent. Sometimes working may cause a problem in studying completely. Through the Career-Placement Center, these students who have to work, can find jobs that can be worked around their schedules and still find time for proper studying. For some students say that if they didn’t have these jobs, they probably would not be in school. Therefore, a job is needed for some students to get an education.
