Middle School, who
recalled fond memories of
Clark.
"She was an excellent
teacher," said Cook-
Jefferson.
"Just exuberant. Young
at heart and young in
spirit."
Cook-Jefferson and
Clark came into Backus
Middle School together
five years ago under new
administration.
The assistant principal
said that Clark's age was
unrecognizable, and she
liked to exercise.
"She was just a teeny
weeny little thing," said
Cook-Jefferson. "You
would never know she
was 65."

sitter. "She got stuck in
traffic," said WT^atley. "By
the time she arrived, she
saw the first plane hit the
first building."
