The Honorable Louis Farrakhan, left, Winston-Salem State University alum nus and leader of the Nation of Islam, returned to WSSU as a guest speaker; and when the Rev. Jesse Jackson, right, visited campus in 1988, when he was a presidential candidate. Jackson, an alumnus of North Carolina A&T, would go on to lose the Democratic nomination to Michael Dukakis. Do you remember ... when it snowed all night and made everyone late to class ... good times in the dorm ... the Homecoming coronation ... and of course, the Big Game.
