‘31- “Agnes White Thomas, received
first prize in Virginia from Farmer’s
Almanac for writing light verse:
Some folks say a cow gives milk.
But that’s a lot of Bull;
It’s not that easy to get milk;
It takes a lot of pull!
‘37- "Wylma Woolard is retired and
living in Charlotte, N.C.
‘51- -Ellen Downs Barnes is living in
Tucson, Ariz. and is pleased to announce
the birth of her seventh grandchild.
‘57- -Deri G. Winslow retired July 1,
1990 after more than 31 years in public
health.
‘58- -Michael H. Johnson has been
elected to the board of directors at
Wachovia Bank of North Carolina, N. A. in
Greenville. He is president of Johnson
Mercantile Company.
‘63- -Clifton Edwards is the owner of
the Williamsburg Funeral Home. He is
treasurer for the Greater Williamsburg’s
AIDS Support Network. This organization
will be working to meet the needs and the
education of HIV positive and AIDS
victims.
‘65- -Gary Williams of Suffolk is
entertaining young and old throughout the
area as Smiley the Clown.
‘66 - Allen Glasgow is vice president of
a group of rehabilitation centers in the
Hawaiian Islands. Allen is writing two
books for publication and continues to write
poetry. His address is 3151 Monsarrat
Avenue, Apt. 203, Honolulu, HI 96815.
‘67- -Betty Sue Howard and William
Robert Perkins were married June 13. Betty
is employed by Belk in Fayetteville, N.C.
The couple will reside in Fayetteville.
‘67- -Joyce H. Cale is assistant director
for health information management at
Southampton Memorial Hospital in
Franklin, Va. Joyce is married, has two
children and lives in Suffolk.
‘67- “Carl P. Craig Jr. is a mathematics
teacher in the Dinwiddie County Schools.
Carl is married, has one child and lives in
McKenney, Va.
‘67- -Lawrence L. Edwards is a teacher
in the Nash-Rocky Mount Schools. He’s
married, has two children and lives in
Spring Hope, N.C.
‘67- -Albert E. Freeman II is a principal
probation officer at the Burlington County
Probation Department. Albert is married
has a daughter and hves in Tabernacle, New
Jersey.
‘67- “Arthur (Tripp) Goolsby III is vice
president of sales and marketing at
Poquoson Leasing Incorjx>ration. Arthur is
married and lives in Suffolk.
‘67“ “Donnie L. Hall is a university
budget officer at the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is married, has
two children and lives in Durham.
‘67- -Barbara Guthrie Hamlet is a first-
grade teacher in the Campbell County
Public Schools. She is married, has two
daughters and lives in Phenix, Va.
‘67- “Martha Butler Harris lives in
Conway, N.C. with her husband and two
children.
‘67“ “Benjamin Cay wood Herndon Jr. is
athletic director and driver education
coordinator at Chancellor High School in
Spotsylvania County, Va. Herndon is
married, has a daughter and lives in
Fredricksburg, Va.
‘67“ “Madge Baldwin Hollifield is
secretary for the International Federation of
Professional and Technical Engineers. She
lives in Newport News with her husband
and son.
‘67“ “Jacqueline Segar Epes Jones Kite
is a teacher in the Page County Schools. She
lives in Luray, Va., with her husband and
three daughters.
‘67- -Donald W. Major is president of
Summit Medical Supplies, Inc. He lives in
Naples, Fla., with his wife and two children.
‘67- “Peggy Hensley Massey is adminis
trative director of the Outer Banks Medical
Center. She has one daughter and lives with
her husband in Kill Devil Hills, N.C.
‘67- -Bonnie Zorn Sampson is office
manager for Creative Edge Video and Film
Production. Bonnie is married and lives in
Portsmouth, Va., with her family.
‘67- -Linda Tingle Searles is editor/
public relations for J. Sargeant Reynolds
Community College. Lin^ lives with her
husband and daughter in,

‘67- -Marjorie Fleet Snead is married
and has three children. Marjorie has her B.S.
from Radford University and master’s in
education from Lynchburg College. She
resides with her family in Amhurst, Va.
‘67- “Emily “Linnea” Mustian
Westbrook is a high school counselor at
Northern Vance High School. She has three
children and lives in Henderson, N.C.
‘69- “Linda F. Jenkins is living in
Franklin, Va., and works at Moyler, Moyler,
Rainey and Cobb, Attorneys. She has
recently completed required courses and has
taken the C.P.S. exam to become a Certified
Professional Secretary.
‘71- -Larry E. Thurston is engaged to
marry Judith Anne Cannon. An April 1993
wedding is planned.
‘73- “Donna Oleyar Kacmarski has
recently received her master’s of education
in school administration and is serving as
the administrator of Valley Baptist Acad
emy in Arkansas. Donna and her husband,
Roger, have three sons.
‘73“ “Libby House Musselman has been
named assistant head nurse at St. Francis
Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., on ‘7 Barry,” a
pediatric, EENT and Plastic Surgery Unit.
Libby and her husband, Charles, have one
daughter.
‘73“ -Deborah Gunter Brandley has two
sons and is living in Youngsville, N.C.
Deborah works part-time as accounts
receivable clerk for Custom Auto Parts, Inc.,
and serves in many areas of the children’s
ministry at Wake Forest Baptist Church.
‘74- “Mack L. Thorpe Jr. works for
Northern Telecom, Inc. and has moved to
Cary, N.C.

“Edwin Conner is the owner of
Conner Photography and lives in Winfield,
W.Va.
‘78“ “John T. Via and Kristina M. Kreitz
were married on May 3, 1992. John is
bartender at the Heartbreak Cafe in Newport
News. The couple will reside in Newport
News.
‘79- -Tandy Oliver Dunn was recently
inducted into Sigma Iota Epsilon, an honor
ary professional fraternity for management,
at East Carolina University where he is
majoring in business administration. Tandy
is employed by The Daily Reflector of
Greenville. He and his wife, Juanita, have
two daughters.
