4 r??5 9l’S«SK.PPSS§F _ Students I serve on " summer missions Four Chowan College stu dents devoted their summer va cations as summer missionaries, according to campus minister Tim Wilson, who arranged for the students to gain missionary experience. Lee Stephens of LaGrange filled a Youth Corps position as youth director at Center Grove Baptist Church in Hudson. Stephens, a junior majoring in science, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Lee Stephens Jr. and is a member of First Missionary Church in LaGrange. Stephens has been elected president of Chowan’s Student Government Association for the 1995-96 academic year. Matthew “Grover” Suggs of Jersey, Va., filled a summer missions position in Home stead, Fla., and worked with dis aster relief from Hurricane An drew. Suggs, a junior and the son of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Suggs, also spent six weeks of his vacation in Orlando, Fla., working in biological research for agricultural missions to Haiti. Suggs, a biology major, is a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in King George, Va. Arthur Robinson, a sopho more from Laurinburg, traveled to New Orleans to become a summer youth counselor at Suburban Baptist Church. Robinson is the son of Johnsie Robinson and is a communica tions art major. Bryan Banks joined the staff at the North Carolina Baptist Assembly at Fort Caswell for the summer. A freshman from Virginia Beach, Va., he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Banks and a member of Atlantic Shores Baptist Church. Whitaker Library now contains new database Whitaker Library has added "Business Index — Academic Edition,” a computer database geared specifically to articles in business journals and newspa pers since 1992. The database resides on the In- foTrac work station, and oper ates exactly as the "Expanded Academic Index," which stu dents and faculty already use.
