By AMY BOYD As September comes to a close at Chowan, many drama students will begin preparing for their fall presenta tion of “Dracula.” Under the direction of Ms. Sandy Boyce, head of the drama department, returning sophomores as well as new students will soon be busy rehearsing for their October feature. Rehearsals will be held all through the month of Oc tober until opening night. “Dracula” will be presented October 29 through November 1 in McDowell Columns at 8 p.m. There will also be a special matinee performance on Hallo ween, Thursday, October 30, at 1:30 p.m. Tickets for this horror feature will be on sale October 22 at lunchtime in Thomas Cafteria. According to Ms. Boyce, she and Dr. James Chamblee, head of the music department, are considering the possibility of a musical this spring.
