This year, for their fall production, the Chowan Players regress in time to a small southern town where we are exposed to racial predjudice as seen through the eyes of a young girl and her family. The story involves the fate of a young black man wrongly accused of assaulting a white girl. The cast relates to us the events leading to the trial, the trial itself and the events following the trial.
