(continued from Page 1) The library operates on a budget of $20,000 per fiscal year. This money is pro vided by the state. Mr. Rush, director of development,icontinues to endeavor to obtain other sources of financial aid, such as the federal grants. A faculty library committee will soon be organized for the purpose of selecting books and music for the library. Mr. Van Hoven urges all students to give him any suggestions or requests and says that "the purpose of the library is to serve the school as a who1e." THEN. C. ESSAY STAFF SAT.P7ENTS ADD SPAR " " On Saturday night, October 15, at 8 p.m. there will be a discotheque in the cafeteria. This is the first event in a series of Saturday night activities which will continue throughout the year. The dormitory officials are in charge of these events. A movie will be shown the first Satur day in each month. Mr. Donovan is in charge of the discotheques for the second Saturday, and Miss Stumph will direct an informal dance on the third Saturday. Mr. Wade has the fourth Saturday which is left open for miscellaneous activities, includ ing bus transportation to town, trips to Whitaker Park, and open houses. theatre news Noel Coward's "Tonight at 8:30" and Eugene O'neill's "A Touch of the Poet" will be presented by the National Repertory Theater at Aycock Auditorium, Greensboro, N.C. The performances will be on the evenings of October 17 - 22 at 8:30 p.m. The productions are presented under the Auspices of the Theater Lecture Series of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
