ROBERT MORGAN TO SPEAK AT CONVOCATION
V€DNESDAY,
Mr. Robert Morgan, Attorney General
of North Carolina, will speak at the Con
vocation, Wednesday, December 3, at 1:30
in the Main Auditorium.
Mr. Morgan had been scheduled to
speak here on November 12 but had to
cancel the appointment because of the
death of Justice Parker.
Mr. Morgan will be speaking to the
entire School community on the role of
the law and the youth of America in many
areas which are critical concerns to us
all at this Lime.

YEARBOOK MEETING
A! 1 st'Jdents who have expressed a
desire to serve on the staff of the
Yearbook are asked to attend the Staff
Meeting on Wednesday, at 1:00 p.m. In
Room 314 of Main Bui I ding.
A representative from the yearbook
company will be here to Iniate the pro
ject.

The initial meeting of the All-School
Advisory Council is scheduled for Sunday,
December 7, at 3:30 p.m. in the theater of
the School of the Arts.
Last year the plan for an All-School
Advisory Council was approved by all parts
of the School Community. Dr. Semans and
Mr. Ward have now arranged for the first
meeting of the Council. The Council is
being established to consider matters of
broad, general concern for the School Com
munity.
The Council is comprised of:
All merribevs of the Student Government As
sociation
Five Faculty member's^ elected hy the Fac
ulty Council and representing each
school and/ or department
Five Representatives of the administration
and non-teaching staff
Three Trustees, elected hy the Board of
Trustees
Three Parents, to he chosen^hy the Council
itself
The Chairma}i of the Booj^’d of Trustees, ex
officio
The President of the School, ex officio
Though only members of the Council
will be able to participate in the formal
discussions and actions, all members of -
the School community are invited to attend
and observe the proceedings. It is hoped
that this new group can provide a strong
network of communication between various
school groups and that it will Ise. ali3!e to
provide the administration with a consen
sus of opimion on vital issuas.
