A
The Essay choice of Best Bet for this
month is the 11th Annual Piedmont
Craftsmen’s Fair. The work of 150
Craftsmen will be on display for sale or
show (depending on your personal
financial status) for the first two days of
November.
Piedmont Craftsmen, Inc. will hold its
Craftsmen’s Fair at the Memorial
Coliseum in Winston-Sal^. Pottery,
glass, weaving, enameling, embroidery,
woodworking are just a few of the more
than 50 different craft forms being
exhibited and sold.
The two most popular features of the
Fair are back again this year - the
Craftsmen’s Choice Booth and the
denionstration area. The Craftsmen’s
Choice Booth is the Craftsmen’s boasting
area - where each participant chooses his
best work and displays it with the special
pride a craftsman holds for his work.
The demonstration area allows for
contentious demonstration of the various
crafts, presented by the artists
themselves.
If you’re free during Nov. 1 or 2, take a
jaunt down to the Coliseum. It promises
to be a most curious and interesting
event.
