After the basic structure has been discussed in a Student Body meeting it will be referred back to the Student Council. 3. The Student Council will present this basic structure to the Special Committee, which v/ill then prepare a rough copy of the Constitution to be presented again to the Student Council. 4. The Student Council will then present the Student Body with a copy of the proposed Constitution one week before it is to be voted on by the Student Body. The SGA has also planned and presented to the Student Body the time and procedure of the coming Student Government elections. The Bishops, in their first home game, defeated Windham Col lege of Vermont for a 10-2 vic tory behind the outstanding pitdi- ing of right hander, Ed Schultz. The game was played in the Rocky Mount Municipal Stadium. The "Battling Bishops” pushed across three runs in the first inning when centerfielder, Francis Eason was safe on an error by the shortstop. Larry Matthews walked and Ed Schultz hit a single to centerfield, scoring the first run Both runners advanced on the throw in. Cooper and Moore struck out. Bill Garlow was at bat when a wild pitch permitted Matthews to score from third. Schultz then scored when the shortstop error ed Garlov/'s ground ball. Neville closed out the inning by grounding out to third base. Three more runs were scored in the second inning when Eason hit a double to left field with two outs. Matthews followed with a 360 foot drive over the left- centerfield fence for a home run. Schultz followed with a_ double and scored on Cooper’s single to left to cli.i'x the uprising.
