April 20. 1961 NORTH CAROLINA WESLEYAN Page 2 Bills, articles,' arr;endments, proposals, and confusion. That’s all a part of establishing a Bern- ocratic Student Government. Bills aad all permanent policy iriust be spelled out in words to make very clear exactly what the students want for the future. Everyone seems to ask,"In plain simple words, what has the student body established in the first two bills it passed?” These first two bills passed concern only the election of SGA and class officers including the requirements for nomination, cam paign procedures, and the time of election. Vann Massey, President of the SGA, has asked the students to con sider one other question,"How can I be a good citizen and help my Student Government?" Vann suggests that a good cit izen is one who keeps himself in formed and open-minded to the discussion of the Student Govern ment and its functions.
