MRS. GAYLE FELTON
President Of SGA
Expresses Thanks
As the year comes to a close, I
v/elcome this opportunity to ex
press to all students my many
thanks for the cooperation and sin
cere efforts you have shown our
Student Government Association
this year.
I want to thank personally each
student, staff member and faculty
member that has made my job as
president a very rewarding experi
ence. The SGA could not have
rr.oved into so many areas or ac
complished what it has without the
joint co-operation of the entire Wes
leyan Community.
In a few' days Joan and I will be
re-filing our work for the past two
years for a last time.
It is with some sadness that 1
throw old letters and memos in
the trash can and with equal sad
ness that Joan fishes them out and
preserves them in her scrap book.
I have much confidence in the
Senate that will serve our students
next year and gradually make Wes
leyan a college on top of everyone’s
list.
Student Body Of
300 Anticipated
A student body of more than 300
students is expected at Wesleyan
next year.
The College will have a junior
class for the first time, along with
freshmen and sophomores, and in
coming freshmen are expected to
boost total enrollment over the 300
mark.
