Though we can not rate “The Charge of the Light Brigade” as an excellent film, it is very good as an historic dra ma, as a psychological study, and as an anti-war film. 19th Century political cartoons ( in animated form) delightfully link the major segments of the film together and display Richardson’s genius. They were truely one of the highlights of the film. Two points were brought sharply into focus as we viewed “The Charge of the Light Bri gade:” 1.)
