Members of the fra ternity voted to return to Nu Gamma Phi because they found it difficult at a small school like Wesleyan to meet the high standards of the national charter. At the Homecoming Dance, all members of the fraternity wore black and green ribbons on their jacket lapels, black to sym bolize the death of Pi Kappa Phi and green the rebirth of Nu Gamma Phi. The latest incident was a few weeks ago when five male stu dents went to Denny’s about 1:30 a.m. and were reported by wait ress Anita Cherry as being “very rude, loud-mouth, and vulgar, and making all the other customers really uncomfortable.” opened the curtain on a woman showering. The Campus Activities Board helped sponsor and oversee all activities in cooperation with in dividual collegiate clubs. The week started off Monday, OcL 5, with an Airband Contest in the Student Activities Center sponsored by Sigma Pi. Wednesday, Oct. 7, Sigma Phi Delta sponsored the P^idding Pool in the back of Nash Hall. A long piece of tarp was spread out on the ground and covered with pud ding. The employee said that Wes leyan students were welcomed and the section was opened so that students would consider us ing Denny’s late at night.
