It can be incredibly frustrating and time-consuming to research the best universities in your field. American Universities Admission Program (AUAP). based in Sarasota, Fla., can help. AUAP is a scholar’s service organization created initially for international students, though Americans decided they liked the service too. The mission is to help in the selection of and admission to the best universities for the stu dent, and the success has been phenomenal. AUAP guarantees at least one admission offer in its Admissions Actor David Dossey slated to share insights on acting This Tuesday, North Carolina Wesleyan will have the opportu nity to meet professional actor David Dossey, who will be speak ing in Powers Recital Hall at 9:40 a.m. Dossey will be sharing inter esting stories and firsthand com ments for those who would like to hear from a really fine actor. Dossey has performed in the NBC television series Homicide as “Eddie,” in “Don’t be Alarmed” on Comedy Central, and was the “Burly Man” in the Lorimar Film, Outside Woman. He has performed on Broadway, appearing in Inherit the Wind as “Bannister.” Dossey Sas also appeared in several off-Broadway Shakes pearean productions, Henry V, As You Like It, Titus Andronicus, and Measure for Measure. Dossey has numerous regional theatre credits too. Included are performances at Burning Coal Theatre, JFK Center for the Per forming Arts, Washington Jew ish Theatre, Huey P. Long The atre, Baltimore Shakespeare Fes tival, Round House Theatre, and ‘Coconut Grove Theatre in Mi ami. Dossey is a member of Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity. He has a MFA from Louisiana State University and has taught ANNOUNCING This year’s Staley Lecturer Dr. Linda McKinnish Bridges Professor of New Testament and Greek at the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond will be on campus March 24.
