Just off the corner of Adams Millis intersection are several homes of Adams-Millis employees, who, during the past several years have work ed together and with their own labor have built their homes. Charles (Buck) Har den, Robert Shore and Ernest Harden are among the neighbors who have join ed forces and with exchange of labor dur ing their spare time have built homes. When Buck started his house on Adams Street in 1941, his brother Ernest and Robert Shore helped him. Then last year when Robert built his house on Millis Street, Buck and Ernest helped Robert. Last March it wasErnest's time to build; again, all three went to work to gether whenever either of them had time available and now Robert is in his new home on Smith Street. Now, it's Buck's turn again. Buck found his house was too small and de cided to add two rooms and a porch. The three started working whenever they had a day off, Saturdays, and in the af ternoons after they got off work. Buck's house is complete inside with the excep tion of finishing the floors. And soon the porch will be completed. Then may be the boys can rest for a while, that is until another room has to be added. ERNEST HARDEN’S HOME N HOME OF ROBERT SHORE
