- 9 - rir rH I III III! I nr BUCK HARDEN’S HOME Pictured are Rev. Wade Coggins, his wife, and small son, who are going to Columbia, South America after spend- ing a year in this country. This will be their second trip as missionaries to the South American country, which seems to indicate that they like it and feel they are wanted and needed. Wade is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles (machine shop) Coggins who re side at 409 Ferndale Drive. He and his family expect to be away five years, as Specified by the Gospel Tabernacle of High Point, their home church. It is with great sadness that we pay a final tribute to Lottie Walker, looper of plant four, who passed away June 7, f954. Mrs. Walker was born March 15, 1896 and had been employed by Adams- I'^illis since September 3, 1946. Her niany friends extend their sincere sym pathy to her family in their bereavement. Ruby, not Josephine, made quite a trip in her Ford, not Oldsmobile, dur ing vacation weekl Ruby, Wyatt and Donnie Shields of Kernersville participated in the "Horse less Carriage Caravan" which left from Laurinburg on July 15 and toured West ern Carolina. They were driving a 1922 T-Model and were among the 60 contest ants to make the entire trip. ., The average person spends a vaca tion at the beach, fishing, sightseeing, etc...but not Vestal Fulp. He went a-huntin' bear, and he found onel He brought back this picture as proof-posi tive. Guess we'll have to believe him since Margaret tells the same story'. Mr. and Mrs. Troy Winslow spent their vacation in Miami and Daytona. . . Mrs. Winslow is employed in Plant #2.
