DIRECTORS ELECTED AT ANNUAL MEETING
The men above were elected by the stockholders of Adams-Millis Corpora
tion to the Board of Directors of the corporation at the annual meeting of the
stockholders on March 23. The meeting was held at the Sheraton Hotel in High
Point. Left to right, seated, they are H. O. Williams, secretary-treasurer of
Adams-Millis since March of 1958; H. G. Bell, vice president of Adams-Millis
since March of 1955, and newly elected to the Board of Directors; J. H. Millis,
president of the corporation, and director of the corporation since 1950; J. E.
Millis, chairman of the Board of Directors, and director since 1928; standing,
left to right, R. M. Duggins, president of MAC Panel Division of Adams-Millis,
and newly elected director; N. M. Ayers, executive vice president of Highland
Cotton Mills, director of Adams-Millis since March of 1955; C. P. Wirsching,
vice president of Adams-Millis since March of 1955, newly elected to the Board
of Directors; T. L. Smith, senior vice president, and director of Adams-Millis
since 1946; Irwin Belk, president of Belk Enterprises, Inc., and director of
Adams-Millis since March of 1959; Bland Worley, senior vice president in charge
of the Greensboro, N. C. , office of Wachovia Bank and Trust Company, director
of Adams-Millis since 1955. Also re-elected to the Board of Directors of
Adams-Millis was T. C. Langley who was unable to attend the meeting. The
