NEWS AROUND THE PLANTS Plant One Plant Four The Shean family is well repre sented this year on the basketball team (the "Bulldogs") at Trinity High School--players #12 and #13 are Steve and Kenneth Shean, sons of Louise Shean who is a looper at Plant #1. The Shean boys are also very acitve in other sports at Trinity High. Edith Chandler became the bride of Jessie A. Jones on February 17, i960. Jessie is a boarder at Plant #1. To them go our best wishes for much happine s s. Plant Two Welcome home to Gladys Adams who recently underwent surgery at High Point Memorial Hospital. Gladys is employed in the Finishing Depart ment of Plant #2. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lowe visited their son, Terry, and his wife in Key West, Florida, recently. Frank is Pairing Department supervisor of Plant #2. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Pegram are cutting their beautiful wedding cake at the reception following their marriage on February 18, I960. They were married at the home of Joseph's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Pegram, Route #2, Summerfield, N. C. Both Mr. and Mrs. Pegram (Mrs. Pegram was Marilyn K. Hull) are em ployed in the Boa rding Department of Plant #4. Miss Evon Hester became the bride of Johnny Williams on the 19th of March, I960, in Lexington, North Carolina. Johnny is a lot handler and Evon a searner at Plant #4. They are now making their home with the bride's parents in Kernersville, N. C. Plant Six Lillie Brown, looper of Plant #6, and her husband visited New Orleans for the Mardi-Gras recently. Of course, they had a wonderful time-- 10 -
