EMPLOYED TWENTY-FIVE YEARS Instructor and Student Olean Patterson Feb. 17, 1936 Mender, Plant #7 Venocia Page Feb. 11, 1936 Inspector, Plant#7 READING COURSE COMPLETED Howard Young, E. C. Tatum, John Stockton, Walter Voncannon, Charles Tuttle, Ben Hooks, J. M. DaVis and J. W. Snotherly have com pleted the course in Rapid Reading sponsored by the Industrial Manage ment Club of the High Point Y. M. C. A. The purpose of the course is to improve the speed of reading and comprehension of what has been read. During the fifteen-hour course, the average effective reading rate for the class was more than doubled. Arnold Laws, fixer of Plant #1, adjusts a sinker bed plate under the instruction of Charlie Dotson. Dotson is instructor of Hosiery Fixing at the Guilford Industrial Education Center in Jamestown, where Laws is enrolled in the fixing course.
