Speaking of hairdos, someone asked
Bill Sink if he were going to wait on
his wife, Lib, while she got a perma
nent. His answer? "I think she's
worth waiting for. " After all these
years, too. . .Nice pair, these two.
Harley with the new shirts the
boarders gave him on his 54th birth
day? Georgia Hunt baked him a cake
and everyone helped him celebrate.
The picture of his wife, Ruth,
that Cloyd Coffee handpainted? He is
quite talented along this line.
Ruth Thomas back at her machine?
Congratulations to her daughter,
Brenda, for having won the Beta Club
scholarship to the college of her
choice, and all of those trophies. Ruth
says she must take after her husband,
"Pug. " Anyway, she has good reason
to be proud.
From the Seaming Department. . .
We are glad to have Goldia New
ton and Ella Morris back to work with
us. Ella has been recovering from a
broken collar bone and Goldia from
a round of surgery.
We are happy to hear that Bunny
Kearns is recuperating nicely after
her operation and hope she will be
back with us in a few days.
A speedy recovery is wished for
Mary Kennedy who has been out sick
for some time.
Plant Nine
Welcome back to Mae Hunsinger,
Lillie Spurlin and Alma Walker, who
have been out of work. Mae and Lillie
have been hospital patients and Alma
has been out on leave. We are real
glad to have them back with us.
Furman Howard and Mary Johnson
are real happy these days since they
both have new cars. Furman has a
new Ford Fairlane and Mary has a
new Falcon. Mary has something

else to be proud of--she is a grand
mother for the ninth time. This time
it's a little girl, Margo, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tezza, and she
was born on April 1, 1961.
