on trial before the eyes of the world. We are not, according to any reliable reports, dealing with the possibility that men will be executed if America does not yield to the pro posed blackmail. Castro has made no such threats. He simply offers to release prisoners whom he might well plan to release in any event. And, as a further note, it is curi ous that Mrs. Roosevelt, Mr. Reuther and Dv. Eisenhower have not indicated any interest in the release of American boys who for a very long time have been held in totalitarian prison camps elsewhere in the world. We cannot buy our way out of trouble. Nor can we buy the respect of the rest of the world. We can re gain it only by ridding ourselves of our national indecisiveness, and by serving notice that we intend to stand up for America. This is the only language that Castro, and those who pull his strings, will understand and respect. DRIVEWAY MUST BE KEPT CLEAR The parking lots on Elm Street have been provided for the convenience of our employees. In order for all of us to be able to park in the lots, it is necessary that we observe proper parking. The parking places have been marked off and a circle driveway has been made so that traffic can be mov ed in and out of the lot. When a car is parked in the circle driveway, others who are parked in the lot must back out of the lot. This inconvenience toothers can be eliminated by keeping the circle clear of parked cars. All employees are requested to park in the designated spaces, leaving the driveway clear for others to enter and leave the lot. Cars parked in the driveway will be moved at the expense of the owner. -7 VACATION PAY DISTRIBUTED Vacation pay amounting to $55,311.14 will be paid to 1,432 employees of Adams-Millis on June 30.
