Did anyone else notice ? Also, on Saturday night a party was held at which Paula Allen and her gracious mother were hostesses. Here good food, games and demonstrations of the "Twist" by Dot Bottoms' daugh ter, Tommie, and Paula's little sis ter, Dawn, were enjoyed. Say, who "bussed" who under the mistletoe? Here, also, those beautiful silver trays were much in evidence. And, then came the dawn--Back to work! ! Oh, me, was it ever hard to get back "in the saddle. " Inventory, anyone ? ? Well, really, it isn't all that bad, is it? Well, now, you take it like this: You're counting, say up to 150 dozen, and someone says, "Are you counting?" Blank goes your mind and all over you go: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Ah, inventory! ! ! ! And then, NEW YEAR'S DAY! ! ! "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Like I say, back in the saddle ! ! ! Cloyd Coffey says when you have to ask someone else if your shoes are shining, it's time to go on a diet! It's a good thing Christmas doesn't come but once a year for those who have to watch their weight, isn't it? REASONS FOR HAPPINESS. . . . Main Office We are most happy to report that Goley Marlette, who has been hospitalized recently, has returned to his home on Gordon Road and is counting the days until he can return to the office. Frances Smith is also on the mend after undergoing surgery at High Point Memorial Hospital. Hope she'll soon be back at her desk. MAC-PANEL DIVISION Panel Plant While on his way back from visit ing his parents in Wilmington, N. C. , Charles Davis had a little accident. He was riding along in his little "bug" when the luggage strap on the top broke and for about half a mile, toys, clothes, Chrismtas gifts, etc. , were scattered everywhere. Wayne Frith spent part of the Christmas holidays with friends in Annapolis, Maryland. He also had to make a trip to Charlotte, N. C. , for Uncle Sam. Good luck, Wayne.
