r The seamers and inspectors of Plants #6 and #7 shared a ham and turkey dinne r Christmas week. The dinner was complete with the ladies bringing their favorite home ■ made cakes and pickles. Here they are paused to give Christmas thanks. BLOOD DONORS The goal of 100 pints of blood from employees of Adams-Millis Corporation at the January visit of the American Red Cross Bloodmobile fell short due to the'prevalence of colds and other virus infections among the employees. Officials of the Bloodmobile in High Point had asked the members of the Industrial Management Club to sponsor the January visit. The I.M.C. members, working closely with other personnel in Adams-Millis plants, con tacted all previous donors who also assisted in contacting those who have never visited the Bloodmobile. The result was 60 volunteers, of which 11 were rejected because of low hemo globin and other causes. Those volun teers were: Plant #1: Alma Johnson, Paul Spenard, Sylvia Johnson, Jessie D. Jones, Mary Lee Cranford, Bobby J. Tilley, Jerry Smith, Paul Solomon, Mary Margaret Smith, Willie Hester, Arthur M. Jones, John William Smith, Theodore Terry, Ethel M. Graves, Robert Breeden, Betty J. McCall, Leo Griffin, Cyrus Dockery, Jennings Little, Priscilla Cody, Dennis Car ter, Frank Dingier, Glenn Kennedy, Grace Meeks, Douglas Streetman, A. C. Smith, Odis Stamey, Lillie G. Hill, Buddy Taylor, Elizabeth Morri son, Irene Heath, Leo Davis, Nancy Beeson, Estelle Jolley, Pauline M. Guinn, George Sledge, Ben Hair, Allen McDaniel, Robert G. Davis and Lula Dunn; Machine Shop: Neal Pierce, Car los Auman and Roba Boyles; Pointer: James J. Lowe; Plant #6: Millie Moore, Thomas Fagg and Margaret Beeson; Plant #7: Aldy Love, Virginia Martin, Treva Musgrove, Frances T. Wood, Bill Hayworth, Mitchell Car ter, Nancy Smith, Georgia Hunt and Rachel Marsh: Office: Mack Harris, Johnnie Kirby, Bill McGuinn and Harry G. Bell. The next visit of the Bloodmobile is scheduled for February 28 and March 1. There's this to be said about the average taxpayer; he's alive--and kicking. 13-
