Vaughn had her daughter and grand children from Madison visiting with her. Shirley White and her family went to Charlotte for a short visit. The big smile Margaret Bencini wears can be attributed to the fact that she has her daughter and grandchildren here visiting with her. They have been in Tokyo, Japan, where her daughter's husband is stationed with the armed force. Guess who these two vacation bath ing beauties are. . .the only thing for sure is that they are certainly enjoying themselves. Order and Transferring Department: Ruth Lee and her family spent the week of the Fourth at Kure Beach, Others enjoying the beaches were Ina Cole who spent her week at Cres cent Beach, Linda Board who spent some time at Myrtle Beach, and Margaret who vacationed at Carolina Beach and White Lake. Leon Whitt and his family enjoyed a week of fishing at Cape Hatteras. Norma Westmoreland visited Chimney Rock. Laura Thayer and her husband went sight seeing in Washington, D. C. Florice Berrier had a nice vaca tion at Niagara Falls, N. Y. and Canada. Be sure you are right--hesitate, and you are left. MAC Panel Company Panel Plant and O. E. M. Division; Among those vacationing at the beaches or in the mountains were Jack, Edsel, Wayne, Ken, Tommy and Anna. . .Everyone except Carol-- when will her time get here ? How about Jack? ? ? Went to the beach, couldn't stand walking any more, bought him a blue goose with a red streak. Ken, hope you enjoy your Chevy II. We would like to have a new Chevy, tooJ Wire Plant: Sporting beautiful tans are Lois White, Beckie Beddington and Jeanette Smith. This was accomplished while they were vacationing at Myrtle Beach. Caught relaxing in their back yards while on vacation were Geneva Robertson and Myrtle Gwyn. Office: Linda and Leon Patterson enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Virginia, Mary land and Washington, D. C. Beth and Paul Brewer enjoyed the sun and surf at Holden's Beach. Also enjoying beach vacations were Marianne Gekas and family and Mahlon Pendry and family. ( Plant News Cont'd.) It's real good to see Frank Smith back at his desk in the office. Southern Die Casting and Engineering: Dorla McKenzie, secretary at Southern Die, has returned to her home after recently undergoing surgery at the hospital. A college professor was surprised to note the majority of his students wearing hearing aids. After a closer look, he discovered these were all at tached to pocket transistor radios. - 19 -
