PLANT FOUR KNITTING DEPARTMENT RECOGNIZED At a special coffee break on September 17, the Knitting Department of Plant #4 was recognized for im provement in quality, production and safety. Cakes, baked for each shift by Clara Dwiggins of the Finishing De partment, were served with coffee and cokes. R. L. Boyles and Howard Young thanked the employees of the depart ment for their consistent improve ment since the beginning of the Hosiery Derby in June of 1961. The percentage of off grades has dropped consider ably and production has increased. "All of you have done an outstanding job, " Superintendent Boyles said, "And we want you to know your efforts are deeply appreciated.
