NEW EQUIPMENT INSTALLED IN MACHINE SHOP Machine Shop Supervisor Bob Thompson and his men are very proud and appreciative of the handsome new machinery recently purchased for the shop. The installation of three large machines, heat treating equipment and storage cabinets are but the beginning of the shop's revamping which will make it one of the best equipped and most modern in the area. n J. O. JONES J. O. Jones demonstrates the three dimensional duplicating milling machine used to make center and sinker cams for knitting machines. This machine will cut as many as eight cams--with no imperfections -- simultaneously. Much filing on the bench has been eliminated. IVAN YOUNG Bench Supervisor Ivan Young looks over one of the added storage cabinets for high precision instru ments used in shop equipment main tenance.
