EMPLOYEES CELEBRATED CHRISTMAS SEASON The Christmas spirit prevailed in all plants with dinners and exchange of gifts during the holiday season. Employees of the MAC Panel Division had a steak dinner at the Holiday Inn in High Point. Christmas trees appeared and parties and dinners were held in the Finishing, Pairing, Boarding, Seam ing and Knitting Departments of Plant #7. Jolly old Saint Nick (some say he looked just like our old buddy, Claude Eddinger) was a special guest at the parties and added much to the festive mood. His jovial smile was a big hit with the ladies who took the opportunity to tell him what they wanted for Christ mas. In Plant #4, the off-grade pairers. Sample Department and office em ployees brought all the fixings for a Christmas dinner and set a mouth watering table at noon that proved to be a feast for the gods. The Seaming Department also loaded a table with baked ham, chicken, vegetables and - 6 all kinds of pies and cakes, home cook ed for dinner. Christmas carols filled the air and a true spirit of Christmas prevailed as they left the plant for the holiday season. In Mt. Airy, the ladies in the Sub standard Department had a tree deco rated with red socks; it proved to be quite a hit. Special guests at the office party were those who had retired from the office and Banner Leach, who was recognized for his sixty years of con tinuous service with Adams-Millis. Banner retired on February 4. Special guests at the office Christ mas party included L. C. Parker, Banner Leach and O. S. Harville. Also present were Mrs. Frank Smith, Mrs. J. W. Woollen, Mrs. Laura Doggett, Mrs. Eunice Moser, Mrs. J. E. Mil- lis and W. D. Cornelison. FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS
