("Clint") Shankle, employee of Adams-Millis Corporation since 1945, died on August 3 in Baptist Hospi tal at Winston-Salem, following a three- day illness. "Clint, " a fixer in the Knitting De partment of Plant #7, started working with Adams-Millis on August 6, 1945; he had also worked in Plants #1 and #4 and the machine shop. He was born in Stanly County on April 26, 1904, a son of Ira Durant and Dora Mabry Shankle. A Mason, he was a member and past Ivlaster of Numa F. Reid Masonic Lodge No. 344. He was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Church in Stanly County but was active in and attended Main Street Methodist Church where he was a member of the Big Brothers Class. Survivors include his wife, Bryte P. Shankle and one son, Terry E. Shankle, of the home, 304 West Lex ington Avenue, High Point, N. C. - 19 -
