The Adams-Millis Maroons won the regular season championship of the Little Industrial Baseball League in High Point. Members of the team, coached by A. B. Lockhart, are sons, grandsons, brothers and nephews of employees of Adams-Millis; they are ages 8 to 12. The Adams-Millis Reds, composed of the younger and less experienced boys, finished in last place. (Clear the floor cont'd. ) meaner than others. The ones, for instance, that look like a short piece of 2 by 4 or a piece of 1 by 1/8 iron miss more often than they succeed. But a short piece of pipe or those shap ed like a pipe nipple seldom miss. They give a guy a nice ride and a bad tumble at the end of it. I could go on naming these little devils, but I think I've made my point. We just don't take loose objects on the floor seriously enough, but we can if we put our minds to it. Let's change our habit. Instead of "leaving it there, " let's "pick it up and put it away. " If we'll do that, we'll save ourselves and others a lot of falls.
