Dye House--Herbert Tucker, who had an auto accident several weeks ago and sustained a leg injury, is be ing missed. Johnny Lee Mauney is also being missed--he was called into the U. S. Armed Forces. Maintenance Department--Sam Parlier is now a proud grandfather. His daughter, Shelia, has a new son named Randall Malone Pierce. Cuffing and Pairing Department-- Geneva Jarrett has been absent for several weeks due to illness. Betty Landis is back after being out for surgery. Pansy Barringer is now in the Cuffing Department. She transferred from the Looping Department. Mildred Ross spent Thanksgiving visiting in Jacksonville, Florida. Shirley Herman visited in Dover, Delaware recently. R. E. Sears, of the Finishing Department, went on vacation last week--went bear hunting. He came back looking mighty rested and didn't have any bear meat or hide. . .You don't find bears in a motel, huh? Joe Dale and his wife spent the Thanksgiving holiday with their son, Donald, and his family in Wilson, N. C. George and Frances Elrod cele brated their 7th wedding anniversary on November 21. Congratulations! Plant #7: It's good to have Mable Smith back; she has been out due to illness. Kate Chapman is out sick; hope she will be back soon. Cathy Burns has been to the coast fishing. She caught some fish but there was no bragging about their size. Have you noticed that Betty Ann Lee is not very happy? Her boy friend is leaving for service. Trudy Glasscoe visited her hus band at Fort Stewart, Georgia, recent ly- Mildred Stepp, Edna Ruth, Don Williard and Bessie Young all have new additions to their families--Don and Bessie have new sons-in-law and Edna and Mildred have new daughters- in-law. The Clayton Fogleman family and the Marie Myers family have recently moved into their new homes. We hope they are enjoying them. Plant #8: Lanny Wofford has said goodbye to bachelor-hood. He and Susan Har rison were married on November 18 at First Methodist Church. Our con gratulations and best wishes to him and his bride. Good luck to Helen Brown in try ing to find a pair of shoe s to fit! We hope Shelby Spainhour will soon be back from leave. The tape depart ment is covered up! Linda Black buys an awful lot of gas to do so much horseback riding. Bill Williams, on his first time out, shot a deer last week. Some of the fellows are calling him "Davey Crockett. " It seems that Bob Green has been having a lot of foot trouble lately. Per haps Betty Combs would let him bor row her size lO's. . . Main Office: Judy Gail Littlejohn, of the Tabu lating Department, was married to Joseph Carroll Teague, of Asheboro, on September 10. The wedding took place in Burlington at the Northside Presbyterian Church. Linda Jernigan, of the Order De partment, became the bride of Ken neth Beddington on October 7, 1966, at Fairmont Baptist Church. Candace Van Liere, also of the Order Department, was wed to Colon Utt on December 2, 1966, at Crest- wood Presbyterian Church in High Point.
