Mr. Ames said he was thinking about building himself a new house-- the windows in his are dirty. Mr. Dale has been giving "Oogie" a little exercise this pretty weather. Katherine Cline and her family visited at Long Beach over Easter. They have a cottage there. Nell LaFone has a new baby Chi huahua. His name is Juan LaFone and he weighs 1 pound and is eight weeks old. Surely is a cute little dog gie. Knitting Department Charlie and Cecile Kiziah visited their son, Tony, at Fort Knox, Ky, recently. Tony has finished his basic training. Ensign Ronald Kiziah is visiting his parents for ten days before being transferred to Hawaii. George and Frances Elrod and son (Allen) spent Easter camping in Atlanta, Georgia. Ruby Winkler and her family are moving into their new home. Dolly and Alfred Setzer went to the car races last week in Atlanta. Even though they got a sun burn, they still enjoyed the races--however, Alfred said it was not nearly so much fun as fishing at Santee and catching all the big striped bass, as he did two weeks ago. Finishing Department Maude Corne is happy to have her son home from service. He served in Vietnam. Linda Troutman went all the way to Johnson City, Tennessee, to shop for her Easter outfit. Congratulations to Irene Warlick who celebrated her 34th wedding anni versary on February 11. Congratulations are also in order for Nell Stafford who celebrated her 18th anniversary on April 11. Happy birthday to Ruth Hilton on April 11. Dorothy Hefner took her twin boys, Johnny and Jeffrey, to pre-school clinic on Friday, April 7. Pvt. Larry Sain, son of Ruby Sain, and his wife are now stationed in Den ver, Colorado. Mary Powell is a very happy "Grandma. " Grandson Dickie Scott was born on February 22. Betty Landis and her family en joyed a trip to Pennsylvania and Wash ington during the Easter vacation. Welcome back to Pansy Barringer and her husband, Guy, who have moved back to Hickory. Take notice, girls. Richard Bolick remains single. The reason? He's as fast as lightning and slips away from the girls. Roy Cooke and Mike Ward are also bachelors and eligible. PLANT #7: Greige Goods Department Thelma Hall, knitter, has return ed to work after being in the hospital for surgery. Janet Evans, of the Pairing De partment, has joined the Detexomat girls on second shift. Alice Brown is missed in the Seaming Department. She has return ed to her old position in the office of Plant #7. Welcome back to Myrtle Epps, who has been out for several months caring for her mother. Maude Auman and June Lovingood are on sick leave. Hope they can be back with us soon. Pauline Ellis is out because of sickness in her family. Hope Polly will be back soon. It's good to have Juanita Melton and JoAnn Tyson back to work. They have been out on sick leave. Boarding Room Views Garden talk!
