It's good to have Christine Allred back. She's been out on maternity leave. The women have started a bowling team for the summer. They already have their shirts and are ready to go. The players are Janet Mabe, Lois Taylor, Joyce Skeen, Carrie Lewal- len and Patsy Burton. Helen Widner and Brenda Byrd are the two "subs, " We hope Bill Williams' father, who is seriously ill, will be well soon. Joe Prosch and Jim Davis have been playing golf for the past six weeks, getting a good start on the season. How ever, rumor has it that they tried to show their skill to Frank Stewart the other night and lost. Back to the draw ing board, boys. P. S. Who but a crazy man would beat the general man ager? How can you beat a guy with three lucky shots ? ? ? Do we have a new romance budding? Linda and Mike ? We have a new grandma in the office--at least her hair has turned grey. Congratulations to the new mama in the office--Pat Hilliard. Who is the one who comes to work with a Chiquita Brand sticker on his shirt? Also, someone we know doesn't know how to abide by yellow lines on the highway. Wonder who that could be. . . Is Pat Driggers sore from play ing tennis because she isn't as young as she used to be? PLANT #9: Many employees of Plant #9 took advantage of the beautiful Easter week end for their first vacations--Selwyn Brown went to Myrtle Beach; Rachel Cranford spent the weekend with her family at Whip-O-Will Camping Re treat; and Mike Kennedy also went to Myrtle Beach. Congratulations to Cletus Combs who has a new eight-pound baby boy-- also, to the proud grandfather, Felix - 19 ■ Webb. Cletus reports that the baby. Sterling Dean, and the mother, Delores, are doing fine. H. M. Daniels is sporting a new Buick, and Felix Webb a new Chevrolet. Both cars are real beauties. The O. E. M. Department wel comes back Jorene Combs, who has been out with illness. MAIN OFFICE: Gayle Wagoner became the bride of William Eugene Scarboro on the 24th of March in a formal ceremony per formed by the Rev. I. M. Godwin at the Church of Jesus on Mendenhall Road. The couple are making their home on Route #5, High Point. Gayle is em ployed in the Cost Department. “Our Philadelphia and Chicago computers...they aren’t speak ing!”
