DON CREEDE NAMED PRESIDENT MAC PANEL
Donald V. Creede has been pro
moted to the office of President of
MAC Panel Company, Electronics
Division of Adams-Millis Corporation.
Creede assumed responsibility
for the operations of MAC Panel upon
the resignation of George L. Athanas,
who entered private business.
Creede served as vice president
in charge of sales for MAC prior to
his recent promotion. In his new posi
tion, Creede has assumed over-all
responsibility for MAC's operations,
which include the manufacture and
sale of control panels, wires and mag
netic computer tape, and more recent
ly, the manufacture and sale of disk
packs.
He will be assisted by Frank C.
Stewart, vice president in charge of
production of digital computer tape
and magnetic disk packs. He will also
be assisted by Fred Long, who is in
charge of MAC's production of control
panels, wires and complete program
ming systems.
Craycroft Sales Manager
Joseph L. Craycroft, field sales
manager for MAC, has been promoted
to the position of sales manager.
Creede, a graduate of Syracuse
University, joined MAC in June of I960
as a salesman in New York City. For
two years prior to this, he was a sales
representative for a distributor of MAC
products in the New York area. In
1961, Creede was transferred to High
Point as sales manager, and in July,
1963, he was elected a vice president
of MAC. He and his wife, Joan, to
gether with their four children, reside
at 300 W. Parkway in High Point.
Joseph L. Craycroft, Jr., a gradu
ate of Washington and Lee University,
joined MAC in 1967 as field sales man
ager. During a five-year period prior
to 1967, he was employed in the elec
tronic data processing department of
IBM as a special account representative.
He and his wife, Frances, together with
their four children, reside at 150 Valley
Drive.
