Brenda Byrd and Garland Fields
were united in marriage at the Ran
dolph Hills Methodist Church on Octo
ber 11, 1968. Following the cere
mony, the bride's parents entertained
at a reception at their home, 3606
Rocklane Drive. Mr. and Mrs. Fields
are making their home at 3600-J Da
kota Avenue, Greensboro.
It's good to have Jennie Evans
back. She spent the summer with her
husband, Sp, 4 Charles R. Evans, at
Ft. Benning, Georgia, prior to his
tour of duty in Vietnam.
A surprise stork shower was
given recently for Dot Overman who
is expecting in December. Hope it's
a girl!

bride of Lawrence Wayne Wall on
September 28 at Community Baptist
Church in High Point. The Rev. C. F.
Landreth officiated at the 5 p. m. vows.
A reception was held at the home of
the bride's mother following the wed
ding. Syble is employed in the Order
Department of the Main Office. She
and her husband are residing at 4107
Archdale Road, High Point.
