her parents while she was still in school. Mrs. Clara Hill In 1932, she married Marshall M. Black- Sister of Nannie Peace, Greige Goods well, who was employed with Adams- Millis for about twenty years. They have one daughter, Mrs. Warren (Nancy) Newton, of Route 4, High Point. The Blackwells are charter mem bers of Reavis Memorial Church. They still live in the Springfield Community, on Route 4. Since her health is not good, Mal- lie hasn't been able to make plans for a very active retirement. She loves to work in her flowers and her yard, but says her doctor tells her that this work is too strenuous for her at the present time. Twenty-Five Years of Service Mae Belle Bass, mender in the pairing department of Plant 7, will complete her twenty-fifth year of service with Adams-Millis Corpora tion on February 21. The absence of her picture is due to the fact that she sustained a fractured shoulder in a fall on the January snow and was not able to get to the photographer.
